I finally figured out the animation palate in photoshop! Gotta say this is a lot easier than what I was doing before. I’ve just had Miyazaki on my mind for a while so I sketched this up really quick as a practice. I really want to do more of this soon…

Brother Jon Hu from issue 25 of Brandon Graham’s Prophet series. I borrowed pretty liberally from one of my favorite two page spreads this year drawn by Giannis Milonogiannis. I know Hu is technically supposed to be a lady, but I originally started drawing Andronocles, and decided a few minutes in that I liked Hu’s character design better. The character design in this book is so cool
